Tom Castell Photo Essay
Tom Castell Photographs are edited from an early documentary project from 1978-79. I met Tom at the Athens Day Living Center while attending Ohio University. I would visit him often in the Athens County Home that housed about 100 residents who were not capable of caring for themselves. This photo essay started me on a path to do long-term photo projects for personal and professional publications. I became a photojournalist and did many photo essays about a person. This one remains one of my favorite stories. Fine art images from this series are printed on Epson Fine Art paper in three sizes. 6x9, 9x13 and 11x16. They met my standard of quality.
